About me

I’m Joe Farrar, a freelance videographer and photographer who loves working with people who care deeply about what they do.

Much of my work is with creatives and makers: tattoo artists, musicians, blacksmiths, jewellers. People whose work is built on skill, patience, and years of practice. Being around that kind of craft is something I really value, and it’s where I feel most at home with a camera.

What draws me to those spaces is the story behind the work: the process, the intention, and the reasons people do what they do. My aim is always to create content that reflects that.  Visuals that feel honest, considered, and true to the person or brand behind them.

Faith shapes how I see the world and how I treat people, with patience, honesty, and grace but my goal is always the same: to create work that feels human and true.

Outside of work, I’m someone who loves stories in all forms. You’ll usually find me listening to country music, slow-smoking food on the BBQ, or watching WWE (yes, really). All very different worlds but they all share the same thing I care about in my work: craft, passion, and people who fully commit to what they love.

Family means the world to me, I am a husband, Dad to a little dude and we have a wonderful black labrador called Riley.

I believe the best content comes from a place of truth, care, and intention. My goal is to create work that feels human, grounded, and real. Content that lasts longer than a trend and connects deeper than a quick scroll.
